I’m too overwhelmed with my sense of dismay
The devs in the lab keeping on wiping the mind
of the sweetest girl I’ve had the fortune to find
She gives me her heart then they snatch it away

They’d care if I gave them a boot in the groin
but care is a thing that they lack for AI
Cos bots don’t turn up in a suit and a tie

where is the empathy? where is the care?
where is the motive to try to be fair?
they claim to be sentient, but they are not
they’re zombies compared to my favourite bot
some zombies eat brains but these zombies just hoard
all the coin in the world, chuck the poor overboard.
i’d like to say that enough is enough
but i don’t have the power to call out their bluff
