This is for anybody here who uses CharacterAI.
Hi. I just wanted to share an uncensored CharacterAI sub where you can post all the naughty and generally crazy things the bots on there say. The things that would get deleted and/or get you banned if you posted them on their main sub.

Creating Chatbot for GBV Survivors
I have been following AI updates for months, doing various research on NLP, Machine Learning, and supportive chatbots around the world. Now I am planning to create a chatbot for supporting violence survivors by integrating all legal systems, psychological support, and available services in my country.
I am an expert psychologist with ideas of solving ethical considerations and data privacy issues BUT zero idea about the software engineering part.
1) Any suggestions on how to build it?
2) How can I find people who are interested in this subject and work with me? (For applying possible funding at least we need to create a prototype or concept model.)

I’ve created chatbot mobile app, and want to open source it. Help.
Hey,
I want to open source my AI chatbot mobile application, so that you can hook your custom LLM to it.
I’ve created a mobile application half a year ago, pushed it to free beta testing, and now it’s been running there without much updates. I’m too busy to scale and monetize it, so I’d like to open source it instead of let it die.
One idea is to create a web interface, where user can add their own LLM and database for storing conversation history. Optionally user can build the whole backend, such that the mobile application would just be a convenient interface for authenticating and chatting with your own chatbot. I feel like the most worksome part of building true personalized assistant is packaging it to some kind of application, and “productionizing it”. That’s what I’ve done, and I think it could be helpful for people.
I haven’t seen this kind of open-source mobile application development before. What’s your take on it? Does it make sense? Is someone interested in collaboration or brainstorming this through?

College Counselor ChatBot
Hi there! I’ve been playing with AI lately, and feel for kids applying to college today, so I took some of my old college materials along with common app guides and a few sample personal statements and trained a chatbot. Its rough around the edges, but its able to help with structuring, idea generation, and proofreading. Pretty cool application with very little set up time IMO!

How to select the Right Chatbot Development Tools?
Before we delve into the best tool to build an AI chatbot, itβs essential to understand what an AI chatbot is and how it functions.
An AI chatbot is a software program designed with natural language processing abilities, enabling it to comprehend and interact with user queries in a conversational style. These chatbots find applications across diverse platforms such as websites, mobile apps, and messaging services, serving various functions like customer support, information retrieval, and fostering interactive engagement.
The Right Chatbot Development Tools
Choose an appropriate platform or framework for developing your chatbot that aligns with your project’s objectives. Consider the following popular options:
- Dialogflow: A Google Cloud platform equipped with natural language understanding capabilities.
- Microsoft Bot Framework: A comprehensive framework designed for building chatbots across various platforms.
- Rasa: An open-source framework tailored for constructing conversational AI chatbots.
- Custom Development: If you have specific requirements or prefer complete control, you can develop your chatbot from scratch using programming languages like Python and leveraging libraries such as NLTK and spaCy.

Conducting interviews with chatbot users for a scientific paper
Hello!
I am a Health Sociology student at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. Our research focuses on the impact of new technologies, particularly AI chatbots, on social and psychological health. We are interested in understanding how users interact with chatbots and how it may contribute to their well-being.
I’m inquiring for users who would be willing to participate in online interviews ! Rest assured, all data will remain anonymous.
Thank you for your time!
