I react to messages all the time, and I wanted chat agents to have that option too. I built Emote to let developers add that behavior to their bots.
It takes a message, some conversation history, and your agent’s system prompt, then chooses a reaction or returns none if one isn’t needed. You choose the available emojis or define custom reactions.
Your agent keeps its existing model. Emote runs in parallel to choose a reaction.
