Hi, I was using Grok to drill Japanese words on my way to and from work everyday. I would have it give me a word in japanese, and then I would respond with the English translation, on a voice chat. But as of the last couple of weeks, trying to do this doesn’t work. It gets stuck in a loop where it will just repeatedly give me a word, then say correct, then give me another word, and just keep looping over and over and over again in the same message instead of giving me a chance to respond.
So I tried chat GPT, and that is not good for this at all. It can only memorize 10 to 12 words and just loops them, and it’s really difficult to even get it to respond with the next word in a voice chat.
Claude is even worse at this, while it’s better than text form than both of them, for voice it is completely unusable. And I’m having a difficult time making it work at all on voice so.
Is there another option that would be better suited to doing this? It’s really frustrating me because this was good time for me to get in my Japanese, but all of a sudden grok just doesn’t work anymore. And before you ask I’ve tried opening new instances of it, and I’ve even tried another account, and the problem persists.
