I need to update my LinkedIn photo and I don’t want to pay $400 for a photographer. I’ve been looking at AI headshot generators but there are so many options and I have no idea which ones are actually good versus which ones make you look fake.
What I’m looking for is something that looks professional enough for LinkedIn and job applications. Not overly smoothed out or obviously AI-generated. Just a normal professional photo that looks like a real person took it. Someone mentioned Looktara to me and said it worked well for them. Has anyone here tried it? Does it actually look realistic or can you tell it’s AI-generated ?
I’m also open to other recommendations if there’s something better. I just need something that doesn’t cost hundreds of dollars and doesn’t make me look like a plastic doll.
What AI headshot tools have you guys actually used and would recommend? Which ones should I avoid because they look too fake?
