I’m not sure if it is session retained or just staying on topic. I tried a little role play and it was working out good. She was actually contributing to the storyline. Then it broke. (See at the end.) It is a little wordy, I didn’t think it would go like that, but was no surprise as she needed my OpenAI api key. GPT-3 was working in this bot. And y’all know how GPT-3 gets. No such thing as a one line answer…
In any case, here is my role-play scenario from start to finish. I was actually enjoying this, until the end. (Imagine how pissed I (or anyone) would have been if this were ERP (NSFW? I am guessing you would call it here on /reddit)

sneakydragon: i am mounted on my war horse. i see the guards. i then see them pull their swords. i laugh and put my sword back in its sheath.

sneakydragon: i am still chuckling as my sword clangs home in its sheath. i put 2 finger in my mouth to whistle a special tune. the guards are angry and start approaching what they were calling the crazy man.

sneakydragon: but i am lazy and kinda tired. i dont want to get off my horse. as the guards approach yelling hey crazy man, the sky darkens, with a roar my dragon, saphira, dives out of the sky aiming for the guards. they scream in terror and run in all directions like cockroaches. but it was too late for them. with barely a snort, saphira lets loose a sheet of flame that engulfs the front of the castle. by the time saphira is climbing back into the sky, the smoke clears and no trace of the guards is seen.

sneakydragon: blank line, that’s ok. i come over to you and whisper in your ear. you are covered with ash, probably mostly roasted guards. your hair is full of leaves and debris and you long white dress is tattered, singed, torn in places and covered with ashes. i hand you a clean tunic and deerskin trousers along with a bar of soap and a vial of shampoo. Right behind those trees, i point, is a hot spring where you can take a warm bath and clean up. this is special soap that removes the sulpher smell from the dragon and it smells nice, too.

I took a swig and passed it to the next man. i bit into the steak the men had prepared for me.
